Sunday Night Faves No.5

The fact that I'm doing Sunday Night Finds No.5 has made me realise that my blog is in fact a month old! I really love reading your lovely comments and would like to say a huge thanks to my followers!
So, my first find is this really cute, yet simple dress from Miss Selfridge. I've seen different versions of it before, but this slightly unusual colour combination is very Autumnal to me, I just love how the mustard and purple look together.
Miss Selfridge- £32
I really love all the shoes Topshop have in at the moment, they have some gorgeous, heels, boots and flats! I'll definitely be asking for a couple of new pairs from Topshop for Christmas! My favourite pair of flats right now had to be these loafers! They've got a real vintage look to them and remind me of the kind of slippers that my grandma wears. The price is the only thing that puts me of, so I may have to put them on my 'Buy if I Win The Lottery'.
Topshop- £52

My Lust for the Topshop Limited Edition Dresses

I have to say I've definately noticed the gradual rise of the price of clothing in Topshop, and ofcourse, I'm not too chuffed about it. But, that doesn't stop me checking the website on a daily basis, and when the limited edition dresses come out I always pick my faves staright away! The lovley detail of the Topshop Limited Edition dresses always catch my eye (as does the steep price), there's something quite ethereal about them, I think I would feel like some kind of fairy princess if I bought one.
This dress reminds me of the vintage flapper dresses worn 1920-30's, and I just LOVE it. The beading detail is so beautiful, as is the colour! Although, I would pair this dress with a pair of nude mary janes, I some how feel the urge to wear this bear foot.
I wasn't sure if I really liked this or not, as there's something odd about the way the yellow contrasts with the cream. But, I've come to the conclusion that I love it and think it's quirkyness almost (yes, I say almost) makes it worth the steep price.

Maxi dresses aren't usually my thing (they just don't suit me, no matter how much I try!), but this is just lovely! The beads, the colour, and the sleeves give it such a vintage look. For some reason I can completely picture Kate Bush dancning around in this in her Wuthering Heights video. The only thing I dislike about this dress is the silts, as I just think that the dress didn't need them, but hey it's still lovely!
Be sure to comment and let me know what you think of the new Topshop Limited Edition dresses!

Sunday Night Faves No.4

Another week, another few finds! I can't believe how quick this weeks gone, sorry for not posting but I've just been so busy and honestly haven't had anything to post about. Any who, hope every ones well! But to make up for my absence, I do plan to do a rather large Elf haul, as I made an order last night.
Retailing in Topshop for £50
I'm such a sucker for a peter pan collar, I just can't get enough of them! I do love this dress, although due to it's pretty steep price, I'll probably buy a dupe of it from New Look or Ebay, as I don't really think it's worth £50.

Simple top, with a few spots! I just love spots, and think they're so wearable and very fun! Also the button down style of this top gives it a very casual feel! I think it would look lovely tucked into a pair of high wasted shorts with a comfy chunky knit cardigan on top.
Be sure to comment and let me know what you think of my finds!

My Everlasting Ebay Love

When ever I feel like doing a bit of online shopping, I'm always drawn to the likes of Topshop, Asos and Urban Outfitters. But when ever I buy something from Topshop nowadays, I automatically presume that I'll see at least one other person wearing it which normally wouldn't bother me, but it would be nice to have something stylish, yet individual.
Believe it or not, you can find so many great bargins on Ebay! It really isn't just for selling car parts and vintage toys, it's more like an online vintage fair in my opinion. There are the obvious downsides to buying from Ebay, as it's harder to return an item and it can be a bit of a risk as to whether or not the item will actually fit. But, if the items vintage you can get away with them being a bit over sized.
Be sure to let me know if you find great bargins on Ebay!

Sunday Night Faves No.3

Wow! This week has gone by so quick! Sorry for the lack of posts, but I went back to school this week, so my days can no longer consist of sleeping, eating, blogging and watching Jeremy Kyle.
It's so strange to think that 9/11 was ten years ago today, I was in primary school when it happened and still remember my dad explaining what had happened and how he watched the second plane fly in. Ofcourse my thoughts are with the family and friends of all those who died.
Retailing in Miss Selfridge for £45
Another week, another lovely play suit! I just love the simplicity of this and how nicely the dark red shorts mix with the white top! The cute black bow just tops it off for me, and also makes it look very Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl.
Retailing in Topshop for £45
Apologies for the fact that both my picks this week are pretty expensive, but I think they'd both be worth the money. I love this beyond cute design and actually think it's rather Christmassy. It also has a really nice vintage look to it and it just looks so perfect for chilly Winter days!
Be sure to comment and let me know what you think of my picks!

To Prime or Not To Prime

Last week I finally got the one beauty product I had been dying to buy for absolutely ages, the Urban Decay Primer Potion. For those of you familiar with Urban Decay, you'll probably have tried their Primer Potion or heard about it.
I got mine in Debenhams for aboutt £14, which may seem slightly pricey for an eye primer, but in my opinion it's worth the money. I've only really been using it with my Maybeline Quad colours, which are quite light, yet I really notice a difference.
I haven't found so far that it increases the pigmentation of the eyeshadow, making it brighter on your eyes, but I definitely find that it keeps it on my eye for much longer.
I can't wait to use it with some darker colours to see if it intensifies their colour.
Be sure to comment and let me know what you think of the Primer Potion and what other Urban Decay products you recommend!

Models Own Review

I'm sure many of you will have heard of Model's Own and seen their amazing collection of nails polishes. I didn't actually realise that they were selling them in Boots until recently, but I was amazed when I saw the impressive collection, of not only nail polishes, but also cream eye shadows, blushes and lip products.
The nail polishes are £5 each, but I would recommend regularly checking their website, as they recently had a 50% off everything sale. I think £5 is a reasonable price, as the quality of the nail polish is really good and the colour is so lovely and vibrant!
I bought Lilac Dream and Golden Peach. I have worn Lilac Dream and think it's perfect for those who, like myself, love purple and pink, as it does appear much pinker on your nails.
Golden Peach, is a lovely peach with a gold shimmer running through it and I just had to buy it as I had been searching for a subtle, yet shimmering colour.
I also bought a cream eyeshadow in Pink Piper, which cost £5. For me, cream eye shadows are the way forward, as I just find them so easy to apply especially if I'm applying just one shimmery colour. Plus, with this colour you don't need any brushes, so it's really easy to apply on the go.
I would definitely recommend Pink Piper, White Pearl or Gold Pearl, if you want a shimmery glowing cream eyeshadow that can also be used n the brow bone as a highlighter.
Be sure to comment about what Models Own products you've tried and whether or not you liked them!

Sunday Night Faves No.2

I thought I would make this a regular post, as you guys seem to like it and I love reading all your lovely comments and getting to know what you think of my Sunday Night Faves.
Retailing in Topshop for £55
I love this play suit so much, although black isn't usually my colour, I love the gorgeous daisy sequins as I think they give it a cute, girly edge. For me, it would definitely be a staple in my Autumn Winter wardrobe, as you can dress it up with a pair of heels or wear it casually. I know peter pan collars can be a bit like marmite (you either love them or hate them) but I love them so much and would literally sew a peter pan collar onto every top and dress I own.
Nars 'Orgasm' Blush retails at around £20.50
I've heard alot of beauty gurus on YouTube mention this blush in their videos and after testing it out in a store, I recognised what all the hype was about. This blush is a really nice colour, that's different to any of the colours I have. I don't have any Nars products, but the price hints that the product itself will be of good quality.
Be sure to let me know if you have any Nars products and what you think of them.
Retailing in River Island for £20
I am aware that it's now September and this top is perhaps a bit too Summery, but I just love that retro look it has to it! Plus, the weather in the U.K is so unpredictable that we could end up having crazy heat waves in September (saying that, we could also end up with snow). I really want to dash out and buy this top ASAP so I can wear it as much as possible before it becomes too cold outside.
Retailing in Miss Selfridge for £12
When it comes to scarves I usually tend to stick to warm Winter ones, mostly because I feel it's sometimes hard to find a cute fabric scarf that doesn't draw attention away from or cover up your outfit. But, I just find this owl print scarf adorable! I absolutely love owls (weirdly they remind me of Autumn) and thought the colours in this scarf are perfect for Autumn. Plus, since it's not garishly bright, there's no risk of it stealing attention away from your outfit.
Be sure to let me know what you think of my picks and let me know if anything on the high street has caught your eye, as I love hearing from you guys!
Oh and thank you so much to my new followers, it really makes me so happy to know that there's people out there who enjoy reading my blog!
